New AntiGravity Restart Battery

Just my .02 cents , but I’d add a hd ground cable before you try cranking. Here’s why, the cranking is going to be harder now. The Ecu will see the voltage drop and shut the starter circuit down. At least it does on the Roadster. I ended up with an additional ground and the Toyota starter.

The weak link is the ground cable.....

I posted this to show you guys what's out there. I'm of the same mind as @1olbull. Usually carry an AntiGravity jump start battery whenever I travel any distance. Haven't needed it for the Rocket. Still running my original 2012 Yuasa battery. Plan to replace it this summer with a YTX20HL-BS battery from Yuasa again.

Those LI batteries are crazy expensive.

how bout 4ga. ?

YTX20HL-BS is the same one I run - except, mine (regardless of brand) only last 2 to 3 years).
Because of this, I reckon not to experiment with a $400 battery!

The ATX-20 series, also the battery for Rockets:

I'll stick with my Duracell battery bought at battery's plus. Works. Have gone out with no common sense and rode off in temps of 10 degrees. No need for fancy stuff. Then again bike very seldom sits for long before i get the itch to ride. I get up in the morning and ride. Ex Marine so if it is raining and plan on going to work I do not ride. Got a thing about wet feet. Knowing it will rain on the ride home don't bother me much. Boy that is about a mouth full.

I took bags and mounts, hitch, windshield and passenger floorboards and rack off mine, 106 lbs, and no more high speed wobble to boot.

Went for a ride on the widowmaker, and thought id check the charging system on him now that hes bedded down for the night. Ok great i dont have to change a stator, a r/r, or a battery so lets have a cold beer oh wait let me check on his rubber, ok gonna have to adjust for the hotter days starting out with a tad to much air, ok now lets have one

Old thread, I know, but I just bought 2 of the "Anti-Gravity" batteries. A Antigravity ATX20-RS, and a Antigravity Batteries AG-1601.
The 1601 was $260 off Amazon. I put it in my Rocket hard tail drag bike, and it starts fine, and is about half the size of a standard battery. I have not installed the bigger ATX20-RS yet (680 cca). I also hooked up the monitor thing they sell, and apparently my bike ain't charging? Will investigate further. Also I noted my stock motor with stock starter draws less than Kevins bike on cranking. The monitor device is pretty neat. I got one for Lipo's and one for lead acid.
