Looks like it...but I was able to use a shop vac with a sealed empty bucket between it and the bike to suck out the excess oil with a system similar to this. Worked really well...just a smidge over the upper line!
 
I flirt with that top line most changes trying to get that last quart totally empty so I don't have yet one more partial quart taking up shelf space.

I know and remember it well! I had a pre-unit Bonneville that leaked no matter what I did! Just carried extra oil wherever I went!
