2005 Triumph Rocket 3
I have a 2005 Rocket 3, I needed to change the battery. Took my old battery out, then put a new battery in. Once this was done, now it wont start. The bike wont even turn over or act like it wants to crank at all. Fuel injection never kicks in either. The check engine and oil light both flash when I turn the key on. Thats all I get. The bike will crank if you jump start it, but it will not turn over at all with just the key. PLEASE if anyone knows how to fix this problem let me know what I need to do. I am at a loss and ive got nothing.

Presume the positive and negative terminals on the new battery are the same way round as the old one and this new battery is fully charged.

Did you put old battery back and see if the problems still exist

Did you check fuses

Do what he said...

It is possible that the battery you purchased is defective. What is the voltage across the terminals? What make is it?
