NEED HELP WITH EVOTECH TAIL TIDY INSTALL

I am using Rugbyref's PDF to assist with the install. It is far better than the Evotech instructions.

I am at a sticking point here. Let me explain:

In steps 36 and 37 Rugbyref shows picture with what he refers to as original bolts closest to the rear of the bike. And towards the front he shows part C described by Evotech as M8 20 black button head bolts.

M8 30 black button head is the part used for the rear per Evotech . It also states in the Evotech instructions in parentheses to
"use OEM bolt with seat attachment."

I am lost. I do not have original bolts at the rear as pictured by Rugbyref. I do have 2 "holes" at that location but the holes are not threaded. I have attached a pic.

The two forward holes are threaded and accept the M8 bolts.

So 2 questions

1. What does Evotech mean by "use OEM bolt with seat attachment"

2. Why7 do I not have the original bolts as pictured by Rugbyref?

I appreciate any help.

Just brain storming as I don't have first hand experience of fitting one of those kits.......

Can you just use a nut & Bolt if there isn't any thread in the hole?
(I'm assuming that the hole that you are suggesting is in fact the correct hole to use)

Don’t have the answer but now I’m dreading the install on mine even more now heh.
