Name That Exhaust + RAM Air Advice?

@Paul Bryant , those are sharp looking exhaust. I like the balance of the two sided version you built. What is the sound signature like compared to stock? My passenger and I like a subdued sound signature. I liked the old Supertrapp exhaust where you could dial in the back pressure and sound to an extent. Anyway, I like that look on @Grumpy Ole Codger . Is the header on the Roadster compatible with the Touring engine?
 


The header is that same on all model Rockets, it's only the CAT and the mufflers that are different between the models.

Sound wise, whilst riding on the open road the sound is not at all intrusive.
Grumpy's mufflers are slightly shorter than my production units as that is the length that he wanted.
I make these any length that you would like.
 
Not to mention Jay the stock setup is pretty restrictive so it will cost you some grunt and is really heavy to boot.
 
I do have a complete stock system for my 2010 Touring. The head pipe, mufflers, restriction box(converters are in the stock mufflers I am told). The mufflers are new, as the bike never left the shop with them on. I also have the TORS, Triumph Off Road Silencers, with a couple of scratches.
 
Paul on the twin muffler system what is the standard length and what is the length GOC had you make ? Also, What is the NZ dollar cost of the twin muffler system ?

Do you have a slash cut muffler end cap ?

This photo shows my "standard" length Bill.
GOC's units were about 2" shorter from memory, also his has the newer cover on the L/H side, more in line with original (3 pipe) style so as to fill in that gap between the front of the muffler and the rear of the Engine (and to hide the starter motor)





Also with these scolloped ones I made up a tapered cover and welded it to the front end of the muffler to cover the clamp and short first taper.



I can cut the 4" tube any length that you would like.
Also can slash cut the end no problem, or scollope them as in this system below.



I price this twin muffler system at NZ$1980.00, US$1335.00 chrome plated. (any length)
Shipping to the US would be NZ$380.00, US$256.00.
Slash cut the same price.

For the scolloped versions, NZ$2130.00, US$1436.00.
Note that the scolloped versions have the baffle tube protruding through the end cap and are scolloped to match the body of the muffler.
 
Thanks for all the posts. I am considering the PB dual Exhaust, but the budget won’t support it right now. So I got a set of factory takeoffs along with the headder and cat, for now. It is a winter project, so I am taking time to install. Planning on painting the cat with high temp exhaust paint. Seems like it is prone to rusting and will look good next to the black ABS cover.
