My turn for the battery problem.

2023 GT, battery often on trickle charger. Started fine when we left home, stopped for gas and she would not start. Guy in Jeep had a portable jumper box. Bike started right up. Got her home and on the trickle charger, shows full charge is 5 minutes. If it charged that quickly on a trickle charger it's not taking a full charge.
I ordered a YUSA from Revzilla, $158 including shipping.

It seems like the batteries that come in our bikes don't last very long. Mine is the original also but zi will be testing it before my next ride.

Never been happy with my 06 and hot starting. Cold starts are fine. Hot starts are hit and miss. Many say get heavier battery cables, many put heavier starters on, none have worked for me. This is the issue with Rocket 3’s that just infuriates me. I carry a Lithium Ion battery jumper and I keep it charged. I think the root of the issue is the contacts on the solenoid. Mine solenoid clicks, but the starter won’t engage. I have found no way to improve on the solenoid contacts.
