My new Viking header is on its way!

Put 'er together this weekend. Still needs work (need to weld the bracket and paint it and I need my shocks to come in. I sent one off to have the spring rate measured so I could more closely tune the new ones).

Did several things to it, which you might notice and I'll do posts on all of them as I have time... but for those liking the 1.5" double T (TT bars) bars, yes those are the real deal Harley bars. I had the top triple clamp welded and re-machined to accept the standard 3.5" Harley spacing instead of the 3.75" Triumph spacing and I designed my own instrument mount. Love these bars!

Anyway, that's not this thread. Here are pics and a sound file, though I need the ECU tune file still.

Enjoy!

John

PS - note the three SAABs in the background.. yes, I love my SAABs.

Beautiful, thanks for posting. Now I'm really getting excited as I ordered mine in February. I hope I'm next.

Good looking stuff. Please up-date with video when tuned for the pipes. Did you dyno before and will you dyno after ?

Yeah, I had a couple of Saabs that I loved too and my ex totaled both of them. Unfortunately for me and my $$$ divorce settlement, they are very safe cars...

That's the pipe I ran on my Harley with the matching header. I liked it a lot. I may go this direction when/if I do my pipes. I can't believe how much I love the stock sound.
