My Moto Hobo life

Glad others are enjoying them.
All the roads in the Texas Hill Country are great.

I just went through Hondo a few miles back and saw this sign:

I’m stopping near Austin to visit a former .net Rocketeer who switched to an Indian luxury liner.
Like I said... ;-)

Well if it snows / ice storms in 1K9's neck of the woods, you will have a bonus comedy show of the local drivers trying to handle the various forms of solid water

The freeway bridges become pinball machines. Demolition derbies. You see people approach the overpasses in packs going 80mph and bing bong they go into the rails.

Yup, true but sad.

At least 6 dead in 133-car pile-up in Fort Worth after freezing rain ices over roads

Lawmakers said they were troubled by reports that the interstate hadn’t been treated before the crash, which led to 65 people being treated at area hospitals for injuries.

We did some PM and projects on his Classic today:

1. Greased axle & final drive splines. All is well.
2. Swapped CT for Bridgestone Exedra Max for the upcoming Leakey twisty fun.
3. Drained old oil.
4. Dropped sump pan & inspected.
All is well with just a few small metal shards. We Cleaned everything.
*** Recommend that both screens be replaced proactively if you are doing the work to check them for debris for higher mileage Rockets.
5. Installed a New oil filter & Refilled oil.
6. Checked tire air pressure.
7. Flushed & filled final drive.

A good time was had by all until Tuesday and sub-zero riding weather, ice, black ice, power outage, no food for the road etc...
