@tribal , Jim are you updating the clutch while your in there? I mean new style lifter piece and ball roller bearing pressure plate? Or were you able to order the old style stuff?

I did find a complete brand new R3 late version T1170066 Clutch Assembly (all the bits in #1 in image at bottom) recently for US$270 (Au$380) here in Oz but its gone to a good home now!

Your early bike's complete clutch part number was T1170002 for VINs whose last 6 digits are before 249177 but I am unsure if any other parts are required if you update.

This part came off a dyno tested fuel injected 2007 Triumph Rocket III with unknown miles (999999 error on speedometer) on it The vin number of the bike from which this part came from is SMTC01L497J292254. The color of the bike is believed to be called CAERULEUS BLUE.

In my defense, the wiring harness and brake controller are from Japan, the trailer fuse box is US and the bike is British so none of the colors align and I’m color blind to boot!
