I used Federal if Barbers can trust them I am sure we can, I had no problems bike arrived when they said it would plus they were in contact with me a lot .
I use Rmmr shippers. They are based in AZ and they are 40 min from my house. Just had him ship 5 vehicles across the country for me. A fellow motorcycle rider also.
Yo, Fingers! Look down about a half dozen entries on this list of motorcycle haulers from UShip and you'll find Wolverine Transporters: http://reviews.uship.com/motorcycle-shipping-companies/, a small Texas based company which covers a national circuit.
That's the outfit I talked to you about today. Matt, the owner, was great to work with and very negotiable on pricing. You'll do better, money-wise, if you don't contract him through UShip and go direct. If you want his phone#, Fred, I've got it around here somewhere...
And maybe not the essence of this thread, if you just happen to be going from Occoquan, VA to Sanford, FL or vice versa, the Amtrak Auto Train runs each way, every day. And they take Rockets (and other motorcycles) for a reduced price.
I don’t recall the company but I saw $800 for one way from TN to CA. For us it would be times two for two bikes and times two again for the round trip. $3200 sounded absurd. If we do the trip we’re going to hire a driver to take the four bikes out and back using my truck and trailer then we’ll fly out and back.
