Moto 400/darkside/dynabeads

Have an appointment to install ct on bike Thursday at 1 pm at Moto 400 in Dawsonville, Ga. If any Captains are in the area that day at lunch, would be happy to meet you. Does anyone in the area know if they offer dynabeads?

Dyna beads:eek: Use the Innovative Balancing search engine to find a dealer in your area. Dalonega has a dealer: Tire Technicians Inc. 13 miles from Dawsonville. There are three more within 50 miles of Dawsonville. Put your own zip in the search finder. Moto 400 wasn't one of them.

I've been running dyna beads for 12k in my Cooper Zeon. Smooth as a silk. I see you are in Newport TN. Dalonega GA is enroute to your Dawsonville destination. Tire Technicians Inc do have Dyna Beads; I just called them. A Fairview NC dealer, Jim's Cycle, won't be back in town til next week.

DynaBeads

HeR3tic, Lester,
Thanks for the info. I will go by Tire Technicians in Dalonega tomorrow, thanks for the heads up on price. As I understand 3 oz. should do the ct and the online price is $7.41 for 3 oz.
Will report on my ride back tomorrow evening.

100% agree on the Dyna Beads. I have a dealer close to me. Their price was about $22 per oz plus tax. I bought 8 oz from innovative balancing,s web site $14.73 plus shipping...
 $22 per oz  That is simple highway robbery; it doesn't surprise me. The dealer does 0 work to balance the tire and gets $66 for his troubles. Right it tune with bail out mania. $#%&ing thieves:mad: I recall a very similar cost for 8oz. from the source as well.

HeR3tic,
Just got home. Thanks for al the info, went by and got dyna beads for 12.95 + tax. Were 2 bags in a pack, one containing 2 and one containing 1 oz. Thought would take 4 oz for that tire so they sub. a 2 oz pack for the 1 oz. However only took one 2 oz packet and rides great. Could not mount the Cooper, said was a cheap tire and tore the bead when they tried to mount. However as fate would have it Jdukes dad traded in a r3 with a Goodyear on it and they had taken off the bike. Said that tire only had about 1000 miles on it and can you beleive they gave me that tire! :D
Are you darkside? I am a very conservative rider and really felt I might not like the tire, however I think at this point that darkside is the greatest thing since sliced bread! Really gave it a work out on Georgia mountain roads between Donalega and Hiwasee. Was very apprehensive at first but was riding along and caught myself thinking about things planned for tomorrow and realized that had gotten past being apprehensive. Looked at the odometer-36.6 miles from the dealer. I never have ridden with the confidence, even with getting caught in some downpours.
Again thanks and Jduke if you read this a special thanks to you and your father.
