Hello everyone,

If there's only one thing I hate on this bike it's those f... mirrors at the end of the handlebars ! Has a member of the forum managed to change them for "normal" mirrors which do not require you to take your eyes off the road and which do not hinder your hands when driving?

I found them great with no need to replace. the mirror shape is teardrop, I’ve seen them inverted (new storm) where the bulge of the teardrop is pointing to the outside. This will give you more handlebar clearance but also a better viewing picture with the bulge on the outside. Easier to lanesplit now, maybe 3 inch gain. Mine was with the bulge to the inside on delivery. will post pic later…

when looking in your mirrors or instrument cluster (Car or bike) you will briefly take your eye off the road, this is normal at least for me. what you do want is the largest/clearest picture, hence the bulge to the outside. hope this helps…

Thank you for your response but, currently, I have already positioned them under the handlebars. It's a little better for holding the handles and passing between cars but far from perfect because I have to lower my head...I ordered supports from ALi in order to be able to install mirrors classic but it's difficult to find given the diameter of the handlebars (I had to take additional headlight supports provided for the protection bars)...

The ideal would be to be able to install them on the lever axles but they are ridiculously small and no mirrors have this diameter. Too bad Triumph doesn't offer this option !

I swapped my mirrors using these mounts from Amazon: Amazon.com I live in New Hampshire and trailer my bike to Daytona every March and the bar end mirrors were just awkward and would've hit the side of the trailer (there's also a trike I haul down). The new mirrors look great and there is no vibration as the mounts have a rubber insert.

Don’t have any issues myself.

@stingray
I agree with you and I admit that I don't understand Triumph on this one...they even put it on the Speed Triple !!! In any case, thank you for the informations to those who gave ideas ( talkriver & NHNRS) and, for the others, keep driving with your horrible mirrors
