Middle TN place to get tune/remap done.

Oh and the german likes to be able to turn key on and when done turn off, i have keyless on mine and i just disconnected while tuning, i know you cant just do that, i know this is a serious issue at this point. Hopefully someone will chime in that can sort this issue.

Sorry you are experiencing this problem, I'm no help here, mine is an 05 and a regular key switch. There has to be a work around solution, hoping you both can solve this quickly.

I know certain German words a lot better after today! It is just sooo frustrating. Is it a module on my bike that I can go snag at the local Triumph dealer and replace? We won’t know until someone with a 2.5 recognizes the issue and chimes in.

To be frank, your problem is as clear as mud. Are you saying the bike won't go? You said you were downloading? You cannot download from the ECU. Full stop. Have you read all the instructions on tune ECU site?

I think it might be an “almost bad” battery and we only have it hooked up to one of those junior trickle chargers and it just isn’t producing enough juice. Tomorrow I will take over a big battery charger and also some jumper cables with a new car battery. Fingers crossed!

Yes. Have OBD2LX dongle and Samsung android A7 tablet, correct ‘22 U.S. GT map. Tablet and ECU holding hands, talking to each other. Bike shuts off after about 90 seconds. Again and again. Download interrupted. I think it is the battery that is almost bad and we only have it hooked up to a trickle charger. Not producing enough consistent juice. Going to try a big charger or maybe jumper cables and a brand new car battery. My bike did the 90 second shutdown before any mapping was attempted. I thought they all did that to protect the electronics and if something was downloading it might stay awake. But I am coming from a 1985 Suzuki Madura 1200. Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

The bike shouldn't shut down. Do you have a charger on the battery and the headlight fuse out? How far away is the dongle from the tablet? You will need to see above 12.6 v on the tablet screen from my experience.

Trickle charger, fuse out, 12“ away tablet on rear fender. Going to pick up new battery @dealership, use a bigger charger and clean & tighten terminals. Then cross fingers.

Im gonna take Konrad a cable, you might not need a battery from a dealer? The wifi out there is sketchy, a cable will help that as weve never lost connection before

Thanks! I will wait then. The connection with the dongle is solid. The problem is the bike shutting down after 90 seconds, and it has done that since I bought it in June. I think the battery connections/terminals get warm and it shuts down. I hope when he hooks up a larger charger directly to the leads we will get past this.
