Took 8 weeks but got my kit to convert my GT to Mid controls
All went well. Only goof was forgetting to put plastic plugs on shifter side.
No biggy. Not taking brackets off again.
Brake bleed went similar to normal but required much more time/effort than usual

I did determine that the front brackets could not be kept for highway pegs.
Both shifter and brake pedals hit brackets

Just bought myself some mids, cost me ~480 USD for the kit. Was reading that you have to adjust the quick shifter and bleed the rear brake when swapping. Not sure if the quick shifter adjustment is possible without taking it to a dealer. It seems unnecessary and maybe it's not required. Anyone know for sure? About quick shift adjustment thing, I mean.

From the Shift Assist Install pdf (page 7, #40) the diagnostic tool is required to select control type to Forward or Rear so that the Shift Force Sensor voltages will be interpreted correctly. Those voltages are the reverse of each other, meaning that the downshift voltage for Forward is the same as the upshift voltage for Rear. Having the incorrect control type set is likely not ideal...

Which is disappointing. I've been considering getting mid controls, with the idea that I could switch between them without too much trouble other than a brake bleed.
