Mid Atlantic Meet up????

Sorry I missed a few days of talk here. I have a 'must stop' to add to this list of places to go to; The Crystal Ball Brewery in York, PA; Craft Beer Brewery in York, PA. This is @Manic_Mechanic's place where I rode to yesterday. He can tell you the story of his first rocket once we gather there, but his beer is darn good. I highly recommend the Jamaican, the coconut porter, Black Magic and most importantly, the Forewarned! If you like IPAs, his are not bad, I don't like IPAs myself but will agree that the All Seeing IPA is pretty good. He says he will even open up special for us whenever we roll into town. (Of course we will have to take him with us when we roll out).

Thanks again for the part and the brew Jim!

I'd like to propose that we either inaugurate a kickoff ride with our presence at Bobby's swim to raise awareness about the plague of military veterans' suicide rates or we should certainly ensure that we include his swim on the proposed itinerary so that we can all be there to support both in spirit and $$$ his selfless effort for a super worthy cause come this July.

Hey, the weather turned nice. Anyone want to take a stab at filling in the details of a ride ? We have a good set of points for a circuit, and most folks should be able to do part of it, and we can leave it up indefinitely so folks could go at different times, just sayin' there are possibilities here - though usually it's more fun to go with one or more.

I cannot ride this weekend, I plan to spend a few hours in the river Saturday and it looks like rain all day Sunday. But do let me know where and when in case my plans change.

I am railroad man, very difficult to schedule specific days off....you get what's available and there are caps on how many can be off at a given time. But I'll keep track of the details as they emerge, and who knows? The stars might align!

i think the best thing to do is start with a point and rough date, then go day by day honestly if you where really pushing it could be done in a few days but it wouldn't be fun. we could relay race it with an open end so its not a rush for everyone to try and make the whole thing or a leg of it. i'm out to sea for most of the next year now. so regardless of my good ideas i'll mostly likely be running the route in small legs when i can find the time.

I prefer to think of a Phoenix.

I think about this topic all the time.

So glad you brought it up.

I think of "There is Love" by Peter, Paul, & Mary, and the line, "Wherever two or more of you are gathered . . ." (to paraphrase) there can be a ride.

Maybe a different tact would be to break this into bite sized chunks.

Encourage folks to add suggestions, perhaps from their local knowledge, and as others have done, float trial balloons, and, "wherever there are two or more of us" just do it.

Report back the results, and no harm in repeating good ones - these would be more or less local to us - for those who would like to do it and missed out the first time.

Dave, Dan and I will be riding Northern PA this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Staying at the Tripps Motel, LOL, Dave found it.
