MCCruise

I'm not sure of the exact routing on mine because I haven't pulled my bear claw yet. The cable goes around the front of my engine and and into what I believe is the servo which Claviger found on the right side while downloading the new tune. Again, don't have the install instructions in front of me and know I'm getting the terminology incorrect. I don't understand the thing, yet, but it works great. It's the first time I've had cruise on a bike since my 1985 Gold Wing SEI LTD.

And on the Ram Air, I'm still undecided on whether or not to install it, just because as you point out, it's a permanent mod. Thus it still sits in a box on a shelf in my shop.

Video is uploading to utube now. It could take an age but I link to it once published. You might glean some insight both with mccruise and ramair as I have both. As to ramair it might cost you a tiny bit of low end torque but you can tune around that and ultimately should. @HansO might be persuaded to divulge an appropriate tune

I’m not quite sure what you mean by permanent?? I just installed mine and I would be able return it to stock any time I want.

Well no! - one thing it is not; is irreversible. But of course you won't want to go back; which, I guess, will make it permanent.

Permanent as in irreversible from what rocketjohn said in an earlier post in this thread, unless I have misunderstood him.

I removed all the plumbing back to the filter box with the tank up and a 5mm long ball Allen wrench and maybe one other bolt.
The rear most hose clamp that connects the hose to the filter box is the hardest!!
But I found it was not tight at all. That was what was causing a small intake backfire since new. Installed ram air and no more backfire.

Well my T runs great now since the TORs and new tune, which is why I'm still undecided on the Ram Air. I'll get some miles in when the weather improves, which is starting to happen this week, and make a decision.

Ordered one for my Rocket! Long distance rides no longer will cause wrist cramps!
Really wish I could get mine to work again... numerous emails to the company and a few green back to the local Triumph and NADT. It just died

Whoever has McCruise what are the top/bottom handlebar mounting advantages/disadvantages. Am considering one during the sale as this weekend while I was out riding the throttle lock I put on was doing nothing but aggravating me.
