Hello,

I currently ride a 2010 Tiger 1050 ABS almost every day, rain or shine. I have a long inseam and surgically-overhauled hips. I found that the Tiger was much more comfortable than my friends’ Harley’s that I sat on.

The more that I see Rockets the more that I’m tempted to buy a used one in the next year. I joined the forum here to lurk and ask questions and admire your rides.

As Sparky59 noted, the nut is here....

Greetings fromm sunny North Texas. Are you thinking a Gen 1 bike (pre 2019) or a Gen 2? If your long legged the original Standard had a long reach to the pegs. The current GT has adjustable footpeg positions.

I’ll likely get a Gen 1. Are long shifter levers available for Rockets? I could barely fit my size 13 boot inside my Tiger shifter before I replaced it with a SW-Motech.
No need for that, you can adjust the lever position so you can get your toe under it no sweat. The adjuster barrel on the linkage has plenty of threads. Check out Youtube if you're unsure how to adjust it (and maybe reposition your Tiger's too).

I don’t want to merely adjust the shifter vertically, I need to increase the distance between the shifter and the foot peg. The attached photo is of the stock shifter on my Tiger. It was not fun to ride this way.

I actually have the same issue. I wish the shifter was a bit longer too

If you move the shifter up a bit it would help, but you're right, a longer lever in your case is warranted. My younger brother had a heel/toe shifter he took the heel peg off of and thus had the longer shifter arm. He is still learning how to use the heel/toe on my Thunderbird because I didn't remove the heel peg.
