From Lacey, I5 North to Hwy 2 to cross Stevens Pass. Once on the other side head South until you hit 90 and take Snoqualmie Pass back to I5.

The ride to Port Angeles/ Neah bay is also fantastic.

I spent 7 years up there and miss the scenery (when it wasn't overcast).
 
Thank you. My son-in-law and I also want to do the Olympic Peninsula. Take 2 or 3 days. Probably have to wait till next year though.
