I never had any issues at all on the first try. I did my homework and it was a piece of cake...but then I'm kind of a tech geek, among other things.

Good luck. I'm in Oceanside and use TuneECU. Didn't have any problems when I did my first map (used the LoneLec cable and the Android software). Let me know if you get hung up and I'll swing down tomorrow.

Sorry, that was in bad taste. Good luck. I'm keen to learn how to do it myself but still under warranty so not going there yet but I did buy the interface in case I wanted to diagnose anything.
