I have that seat, without the rider back rest. I find it great for most of my riding (hour or so), but the rider portion actually tends to get too soft for me on longer rides. I still use it, but it does give a case of monkey butt after a while.. I actually prefer the stock solo seat for longer rides. My wife and daughter prefer the passenger portion over any other seat I have had.
I've had the stock seats with the stock passenger plank. I've tried a Corbin Rumble seat (worst passenger seat ever, even worse than the stock passenger plank!), I've had the Triumph Gel low rider seat and passenger seat (see my profile pic). These weren't too bad, the passenger portion is still too narrow for most any butt. Then I got this R3 Classic seat and it's a good compromise on comfort and appearance. I also swap out with the stock solo seat, on occaision.
