Is that a standard or expected daytime temperature at this time of year or are you guys suffering a heatwave? That is unpleasant at best!!

This is August in Texas. The 111 heat claim is exaggerated. I'v seen 100+ in the shade, in my backyard. People lived here before air conditioning. Just relax in the shade, have some tea and wait till the sun comes down.

Ya'll be safe on the road and with the heat. I have a charity team shoot a week from today. Practicing tomorrow morning so I only look foolish and not stupid. Not to mention indoor range is A/Ced

Heat index forecast dropped to 108°F. Been in non-a/c'ed houses, Used to have cars with no a/c, power-steering or power brakes. Used to not have internet. Used to be 21, used to my knees wouldn't hurt, used to I could eat anything and not get sick, fat, etc. Used to stay-up all night and be fully-functional next day.

 

Ill be home by 4. The rest we have seen. A lot of the road is shaded. The only problem is if you have to stop on the freeway. The Rocket gates hot. Mine throws a blue warning signal. Don't know what the means.
 
250 miles in 5 1/2. One long and 3 fuel stops. It was so hot the exedra smelled like it was rubbing on something. Maybe it is. Going to the dump tomorrow. Will give the 440s +5 clicks of preload.

The R3 is finally breaking in. It is a pleasure to ride. The small rear Michelin Pilot in front, reversed... Veeeryyy good improvement. Thank you Toro for posting that mod. On the expended Exdra Max rim,... Exedra Cruiser G852 or Exedra Max? Which one???
