Let's Ride

Another 500+ mile weekend. Little rain, little fog, same roads, good friends. Life is easy, life is good these days. Getting ready for a long ride from Orange, Tx northbound on US 87. Gona try an 8 hour, maybe more. Far from the 1K in 24 for the IronButt. Will try that on a ride to Jacksonville.
 
I think I need something slower and less responsive than the Super Duke or the Speed Triple.

VMax are nice though

These roads around Brenham need to be on our radar for wildflower rides in the next couple weeks. 1.5 hours each way plus a couple hours riding these roads.
Meet at like 9am @ 99&290 grab a coffee and ride

When do you want to do that? Flowers should start getting spectacular by next weekend.

Let's see what this weekend has in store or possibly a weekday next week.

I just dropped Theresa's Ryker for service and to have a section of wiring harness replaced. If I go riding through the wildflower roads without her, she'll not be happy.

Can't do that. She enjoys the bike as much as you do. Lets see if any of the other Houston Captains shows up.
 
Today had a slow nice ride to The Poop Deck @ Galveston water front. It is now 6:30 PM and it is just beautiful. Little cool but very doable with a full helmet. The next weeks are going to produce many nice days. LETS GO! Definitely Brenham Wild Flow ride but one has to go further west for things to get good.
