Largest Sponsor'd Triumph Event

Got here yesterday - what a show!

My friend and I commented that checking out all the attendee's bikes is as much fun as the stuff on display. I love, not only the sponsorship from Triumph Corporate, the huge number of Triumphs ridden in, on display, for sale, etc...

Having said that, I didn't see one other Rocket yesterday!

Finally parked next to a Rocket:

On Saturday, there were 5 other Rockets in the Triumph parking. I met one of the riders - his screen name has "buick" in it, can't remember what it was though and you can't search the member list with a partial name. Great guy.

What a great time. Definitely going to be going again! I took a few pics if anyone is interested: https://photos.app.goo.gl/UT36vr5AeZPR3yHMA

Went Thursday and Friday. The Triumph display was not as good as previous years. All they had were a few bikes displayed. No discount clothing or goodies for sale (just a 15% discount card when ordering online). They did restrict the parking behind their trailer to Triumph parking (to keep out the riffraff). The park now has two areas for used bike parts (sweet). I did see a very nice Florida tagged blacked out Carpenter Rocket with the Sidewinder exhaust parked in front of the museum. Who ever owns it, you have a very nice ride!

I took my 73 850 Commando down. It wasn’t impressed with the heat but ran well. I met Dave (Scot in exile) between the Triumph tent and the Royal Enfield display. I was impressed with the museum which I visited Thursday morning before it got too crowded. Had a good visit with the Norton crowd and saw some interesting racing.
On Friday morning I got separated from my friends that had my hat and I needed one with the cloudless sky. First booth I went to wanted $30 for a ball cap! Next was the Triumph tent where I chatted a friendly young lady out of a free cap. Dave would be proud of me

Pull your pants up!
