Asking cause they have magnet sheet that are 2.6 mm, but not sure if they'd be strong enough like the ones you used.

I can't even tell they are there when riding. I'd question the 4.7mm thickness they are claiming. I don't think they are even that thick with decal stuck to them.

The 2.6mm might work, my biggest concern was when I first tried placing one was the curve of the tank interfering with the magnet making contact. However, like I said, zero issues so far.
