Kuryaken ISO Grips 2014 R3T

Double check there aren't any small screws up under the rubber of the clutch grip where it meets the switch housing. From memory there were 2 or 3 on my R3T heated grips when I went to remove them.

Much swearing until I sussed they were there. Then much kicking of one's own arse

Great advice, slipped a screwdriver between the grip and the handlebar, a little squirt of oil, a little twist and off she came. Total of 30 seconds I'm sure. No small sets crews to worry about.
Thanks again

I had the grip sliding so I removed the 4 alen screws and drill taped the end cap the handle bar is already threaded .no more issues with grip moving
I used stainless steel screws and i nicked the screw to use it to tap thread into the end cap as the tap point was too long before it would start to tread the hole , you only have 4 mm to work with

Your welcome @Dawg68

Nice one....

I also added the throttle boss to the ISO,took a little work but works good.

Nice one... You also went with @neveragain idea... Stock bar ends. They were a little bit of a pain to install but totally worth it because it stops the slop on the throttle

Two thumbs up mate.

For the record in case anyone is unsure, the heated grips are screwed into place (I kind of like that, no messing around with glue) but the stock grips without heat are just a rubber grip that is slid onto the bar. I put the heated grips on (bike came without) and I chose to just slice up the original rubber grip.
