Klock Werks Windshield /w Hoppe Fairing
You've got me thinking about winter riding now. I use hippo hands to keep my hands warm along with heated gloves, this would help quite a bit I bet.

I just removed my windshield to facilitate easy access to change the riser (rivco) and I am really enjoying the wind in the face. I just can't seem to get the motivation put it back on. I also use a Shark Evoline helmet that converts from open face to full face, so at highway speed I just go FF and lean into the wind a bit. I think I will get a fly screen. I love the look of the R3 "naked".

I must say I am not a fan of making a Rocket look like a GeezerGlide FLHCU, but that is a matter of personal taste. My 2nd bike choice, would be a RoadGlide.. not as a replacement for my Rocket, I just like the fairing setup (as opposed to the Batwing) on them and the lazier (than a R3 140ci) 103 ci engine.

At the end of the day it is YOUR ride and your experience.. (one should) just enjoy it the way you like it. I also live in Queensland and I don't have to face the cooler air you can get in Canada in the riding season (winter here lasts about a month )

Your bike looks like it would be very comfortable for a long ride up to the Soo though!

Where can I get one of those miniature paper towel dispensers you have mounted on the right and just outside the edge of that coll screen. It would come in really handy for wiping water and bugs from both my sunglasses and visors.
