Keyless Ignition Complete

Good Morning R3 Owners,

i have successfully done the keyless mod, thanks to the information In @idk profile !

it was fairly easy mod to be fair, only if you can solder id say though.
otherwise i would buy connectors that go in between the loom and ignition switch as an off shoot kind of deal.
however i avoided this with the connector blocks being so dam big !.

ordered the RF remotes and switch off amazon for £22,
already had the 30 amp relay in my electrical box parts.

soldered in 6 wires 1 too each wire needed from the loom side of the bike and lead them down to the side of the bike where the other relays are, heavy gauge for the live and thinner gauge for the other 5, then wired these 5 to a heavy gauge to then connect to the relay.

all in all this mod cost me £22, and about 2 hours time, most of this was getting bits from shed 1 by 1 as i needed them, once i has all the bits probably 1 hour wiring and soldering.

key still works also if needed, mainly steering lock for me in the UK its needed and more.

I went down the GuardDawg keyless system, obviously daft cost, but im never going back to a key.

hence why the ignition is still in place, still usable if ever needed, have the fly screen on so can be fiddly trying to get key in and out so for simplicity and ease i did the mod, easy removable if need be.
