Keeping Black Engine Like New!

A month ago after cleaning my engine I tried spraying Armor All on it. It makes it look better than new and touchup is real easy and dirt doesn't stick. After a ride in the rain or long day out with the bugs, just wipes off with ease and then touchup with more Armor All for the next day of riding. I used it on my blacked out engine on my Yamaha Midnight Special years ago, always got lots of compliments on how my bike looked new even after years of abuse.
Hi Red, your Midnight Special, what model was it? I have the 81' XS850GS Midnight Special. They are good looking bikes, only 3000 of each model made.

Dog,
It was the 650 Midnight Maxim, not the special, my mistake. Here's one for sale just like it on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Y ... 06.c0.m245, got any pics of yours? They were the best looking bikes of their time, lots of compliments!!!

Mine has been sitting in the garage waiting for the wife to polish it this last week. The only thing I spray on my black engine is water! If the triumph chrome held up as well as the black powder coating on the engine I would be one happy biker! 8)
