Just installed GiPro Atre no changes notice plus....

If you guys would learn to count up to five and back down to one you would not need the gear thingymajig

I think people are expecting to see their bike turn into a fire breathing beast with this mod. They won't. You will notice it most when you snap the throttle open in the lower gears but most likely just feel it as stronger power delivery from lower down. I commented when I installed mine that it made it much smoother to ride at slow speeds.

The way the ATRE works is to trick the ECU into thinking you're in a higher gear so of course if there has been a previous change to the ECU to make all gears the same or similar then you won't notice any increase at all - in which case just be satisfied with the gear indicator. Our Scottish friend is one of several sceptics about the value of that but I for one love the convenience and simplicity of it and the security from knowing what gear I'm actually in; sometimes that's important, especially for us old guys. For example, once or twice I've been stopped at lights and glanced down and noticed I'm still in 4th. Better to know that before the lights change I reckon.

Done that tooooooooooo good bit is the bike will pull away in fourth gear

Just installed Gipro this week-end and really love it. longest time to install was deciding where to mount the display. Already had full power with Tuneboy and now no longer looking for 6th gear!!
