Keep reading on how fast the new rocket is. How great it is. Really happy to hear folks are happy with it. Bottom line is the old Rocket with mild modifications may not be the latest and greatest but a wise man would not challenge one. Not trying to start up any trouble but just stating facts. Their is a lot to be said for the old outdated bird.

Well it is lighter I wonder if that has any effect when you crash it. Cause the gen 1 version hurts awfully bad

I was in a bit of a storm the other day. Gusting winds and mega down pour. I could feel the bike being buffeted by the high winds. Usually I'll speed up in the rain (creates a nice bubble behind the windshield) but the winds were quite dramatic. As I came around a corner there was a line of ducks, ducklings, stretched across the road. I felt bad but had no alternative but to keep my line. All this to say... I'm glad for the weight of my 2012 touring.
