I have replaced two of the late model Triumph engine guards from impacts.
They saved my feet and legs.
I've also seen photos of a rocket with a busted case half from a no injury low speed low side in a curve.
Tis foolish not to have them on your motor, IMHO.

must have been one exciting ride just hope i never have to do that on the rocket. i remember a couple of times doing that on a bsa
if u do not use those pipes put me second in line behind Scott

UPDATE: British USA/Gulf Coast BMW worked with my insurance and the bike is not a total loss. They're rebuilding her as we speak!
