Hi all. I’m having trouble removing the fuel pump from the fuel tank. I have the tank off of the bike, 2006 Rocket 3, and for the life of me I just can’t get it out. Is it about holding your mouth right, or a secret I don’t know about. It seems that it is the float that’s causing all the problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I replaced the fuel filter about 4 months ago, I can recall having to manoeuvre the pump and float around to get it to come out without doing any damage. It was not to tricky. Good luck

Bend a coat hanger to hold float during removal. Welcome to the group
