Scott was getting on it just enough to stay ahead, as far as Bull he was waxing it through the 1st three gears hard. Scott's has a higher rpm range but both shifted at about the same point if I recall...
If they were rolling on at 5000+ rpms in any gear then the bike lengths would have been greater.
From looking at Zard, Ces, Carpenter new pipe, and Jardine, it's the Header that is the problem. Very tight bends and many spliced pieces. I feel that is the reason for cost and delays.
