This bike can be whatever you want it to be. Look back at what people used to tour on and then look at the rocket and ask again.
For me I love the look of the bike so I make it comfortable and you don’t have to break the bank doing it. Don’t need a cruise control, I use a simple throttle lock to give my hand a break, floor boards help and a saddle upgrade may be required. Personally I don’t want a bunch of gadgets and electronics, if I did I’d probably look at the wing...
The best thing you can do is take a trip that you would consider long, identify the things you would like to improve for your comfort then upgrade those components.
