Hello

I would like to remove the front fender on my 2025 Rocket 3 Storm GT; show off that fat tire more

Looks like a few bolts hold it on. Not sure if there is much more. But I don't know about these things. Any reason that I should just leave it alone? (I never ride in the rain, always on roads, doubt I will suffer from anything significant that would be blocked by a fender).

Thanks!

[UPDATE] Well, I went ahead and just did it. The fender is plastic. There are 3 bolts on each side which pulls it off the bike and then there are 2 bolts on each side which require removal (all are 5 mm hex bolts) to get the sides off the fender so you can pull it out of the fork. It wasn't connected to anything else so it looks safe. I put the bolts back on the frame, not sure if that looks any better than having them off. Otherwise, I like having both fat tires showing now ! (because I also did a tail tidy in the back).

If you ride in the rain or go through water it will kick water/muck up on you. It will fly in the air and then you will drive into it. That is really the only downside.

Agree, some kind of fork protection will be good
Around the little and inefficient mud gard in the rear tire, you can find a good example of what you are expecting now to find in your front forks.

I did it back in the early 2000's, for one weekend. Took that big honking front fender off the Road King. Man, it looked so cool. Went down south for the day. Nice clear forecast that day. Until, I hit a spot of rain on a new road (mud washing off the bare hills) and got covered in red clay mud from head to toe. People at the next fuel stop were pointing and puzzled (laughing) at the mud dauber gassing up the Harley.
I put that sucker right back on that afternoon. Good luck if you do it.

Imo 3 things that make a motorcycle are the tank and fenders, how fast or bad ass the engine is and sound, and that it runs and you have fun on it. Looking cool does not in my book qualify a motorcycle as better or worse as it's subjective. You do you but a bike that you ride needs a front fender. Especially on anything other than a clean dry road.
Why take it off? Looks cool? Fine take it floff for shows. But ride with it on. I would be very unhappy that my $nearly a grand helmet gets peppered by abrasives
