just picked up a 08 r3 classic with awindscreen bags and back rest for 12700 and had to get gap insurance because n.a.d.a say its worth 11500 you never get what you put in to it back out !
I just visited the NADA website and looked mine up, NADA has a place to enter some of the extras but not all of them and mine came to $13,011.00. My insurance is for replacement plus the cost of extras to I am good there. I think some of you guys don't realize that there are experienced riders out there that have been doing this for 30 years and do not let dealers take advantage of them (example-10,000 mile service charges posted here).
I bought a 99' tourer Valkyrie for 9900 and when I sold it 9,000 miles later it brought $10,500 mainly because of the add ons. I realize I won't do that with this bike as it was way over priced when it came out but I let desire rule out over common sense. If it sells, fine, if not, that is fine too as it is paid for and does not cost me a thing to sit.
Thanks for the e-mail message. A little to far away for me at this time, but posting the info you sent to me privately seems like it could help you to sell the bike............
