Agreed. How can you enjoy dragging all the time, or going balls out in the twisties on every ride flip flopping back and forth.

The iron butt is a challenge, not something you do all the time.

Just like any other race.

It's not for everyone, just like dragging, not everyone wants to race, not everyone wants to do what Hombre is doing, some people just want to ride.

Had a blast, couple 700 mile days. I would have rather taken my time and seen the country at a little slower pace, but like you said, it also makes it interesting.
