Why is this a "featured" thread? Not content with the fact there wasn't a brawl, eh @webmaster ? I would have been happy to let sleeping dogs lie.........
OK, well here goes......just kidding.

Bit of a pity though that some people (ie not just the OP) seem to think the discussion of car tyres should only take place among those who are in favour of them. If you blokes only want to hear words of support and encouragement, try taking it off line. This is a DISCUSSION FORUM, take it or leave it (literally).

Now I'm going to get back to ignoring car tyre drivel.

I could care less who wants to use car tires on their bikes.

I'll sure as hell never do it, but I rode with a group of Valkyrie riders a couple weeks ago, and my Rocket was the only bike not running a dark side rear.

They all told me how great they are, I told them that I had no trouble affording MC tires, and preferred to keep the good handling of my Rocket intact.

That was the end of our dark side discussion.
