I replaced my hoses when i replaced the clutch had the radiator off. Took hosed off of bike but left old hoses on radiator. Made fitting up the new hoses very easy. Never had a issue with a frozen screw even after using a small amount of loctite on them. Forgot something be careful and cover front fender. Did not look at post made while typing. Forgot one more thing. After you get the new hosed on and used the new clamps go back after around 100 miles and check torque on clamps.
Thank you all for the advice. **** I really just want to ride but too poor to pay a mechanic that may not be any better than myself. I'll let you all know about that lower shroud screw. Liquid wrench first then maybe a little propane might loosen it's hold.
Put some heat to the screw. Keep a water bottle handy incase it gets too hot. May be loctite. In that case you have to heat to put back in liquid form. If that is not it, then a very good bottle of penetrating fluid and heat and time. Use some kind of crack pipe lighter. Butane
Oh and important if your pulling the radiator without removing the fender put a bath towel over the fender so you don't scratch it. Leave large front mesh screen on the radaitor. Do not forget to plug the fan back in. It's pllug connector is right near the front right neck infill panel.
