Installed LED lights.

The white lights worked well for me. Definitely visible at night....

Each to there own mate, but I don't like bling on bikes. It adds weight and I prefer go to show.
Chrome don't get you home.
I think LED's are for the Hoggy show of wanna be's on there shiny pieces of crap.

The total weight added to my bike is less than 2 pounds. I like riding with the lights on at night for safety. Especially with my daughter on board.
