MCDVX:
About how long did it take to install the Exhaust? As for the headlights and front fork indicators what size and brand are you using?

Just remember that a header exhaust system is going to flow better than the stock manifold. Jardines and Carpenter are good choices for hp/torque gains even if you don't like the looks. Going with RamAir and Power Commander is going in the right direction but you going have to get rid of the exhaust gases.

Also TuneECU will give you all the map changing capabilities you'll need right now..... free of charge except you have to buy the cable.

Hey gents, nice thread.

MCDVX, that thing is a beautiful beast! I'm very close to going with the extreme blaster exhaust myself. Would you mind sharing where you picked up that heat shield? Thanks, and killer ride brotha!

Look at Dain Racing for exhaust. I have it on my 2014 Rocket and I love it.

Welcome from Maine Doc, loved that scene in the movie, Val wasn't he? Some things are just classics, just like the Rocket!

Another Aussie welcome! I like two pipes. Viking by Paul Bryant and Reband from South Australia. I really don't know which is better (although I love the look of Paul's polished aluminium finish on page 1 of this thread. I will make up my mind soon...

Hey from Aus, Doc..
I wouldn't waste my money on a power commander... I have had a couple of trumpy gurus tell me that they become obsolete after about 18mths. I had one already fitted on my r3 purchase. I eventually disconnected it, rode on a long trip, then reconnected it for the home trip..... no difference. Triumph them self have told me that ecm mods are the only way plus a dyno. They also told me that the ecm is that good that it eventually over rules the power commander ... my two bobs!!!
