Ok, IKON seems to be the only shock that has dampening control. Is this correct? Also, are they good for heavy loads like 450lb rider/passenger plus pulling a camper?

MAte mate mate.....hold your horses...before you go spending anything on suspension, check other threads previously posted via search tool...search for Suspension...
I have Wilbers suspension on mine and although it has never really been setup properly it is a marked improvement over my Ikon suspension. Not sure if it was just me or the roads I ride on our my arse taking a personal hatred again IKON but mate, if you want the IKON shocks that I rand for 3000k's ( I loved about 5 k's worth) I will sell them cheap. Just understand very clearly, you can buy them cheap from me but I offer No and I mean NO guarantee or come backs as I'd feel embarrassed saying i told you so!
Race-Tech make rear shockies for the Touring model... being Race-Tech i would imagine they would be a good product. End of the day guess it depends on how much you have to spend on shockies.
I never would have believed that my " made for me" hagons could make such a difference on my classic. That is after I tried progressives and triumph comfort shocks. Don't waste your money get the good ones right away.
