Ignition coil positive terminal

Why would you need to know before you lift the tank ? Just lift the tank, and look.
I want to be sure which wires are positive because I don’t think there will be a big plus and minus sign next to the connectors but thanks for your useful tip!

Curious minds want to know.

Most folks just need to know where the wires go back, when removing the coils to get at the top of the head. To that end, some take notes, while others take a photo, while still others have done it enough they just know which goes where.

The McCruise kit uses a tap to one of the coil wires to to make calculate engine RPM, for example.

Without DEcosse and idk to make it easy, and in hindsight as well as 'being a pain';),
I wouldacouldashouda seen which one was the same colour on each coil and called that Negative and if that was mainly Brown or Black I woulda called that Doublnegativo!;):D

You can tell I know all about smoke then huh?;)

Had a problem reinstalling coil/bobine #1 on my touring last week. Specially the front bolt in the very narrow space. Any ideas 'how to do easy'?
Ended up with installing #1 upside down in comparison to #2 and #3.
BTW took pictures before disconnecting the wires from the coils I'm looking at now. All coils have 1 pink and 1 green wire.

Ok it might be like the regular rockets and has a plate on top that just hold clip connector mounts for some of the harness plugs. I first hung the useless plate on the wall thinking I might use that for something some day. Fast forward years and well I was taking in a load of scrap iron for recycle and away it went. Then you just run the bolts thru the coil and into the neck frame plate about 3 more threads will come thru the frame plate. And contact nothing. This also allows you free access to check the lead connections without getting frustrated.
