2 years ago I disconnected the idle stepper motor from the throttle bodies due to high rpms at idle, and moved it under the tank(still plugged in) as to keep the engine trouble light off. Now for those 2 years it hasn't made a peep except for the first 2 seconds after turning on the bike, then it would shut off.

BUT, while in TuneECU, I accidently hit the "Adust ISCV" button instead of Reset Adaptations which has put the stepper motor in continuous "uug, uug, uug, running mode when I turn on the bike. I can't seem to get it to stop....it is VERY annoying! I even tried to fake my through that test, yet it still persists in constantly running.

The only way to get it to stop is to turn on the bike, and then twist the throttle over 20%. But the issue comes right back on the next off - on sequence. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi,
you must now perform the three-part setting mode. See workshop manual or PDF file attached.

The description is for Tuneboy, but can also be implemented on TuneECU.

A good description of how this is done with TuneECU, click here:

It's a description from tdragger, Post # 7

Everything is now re-attached....that was fun. Ran the stepper adjust in TuneEcu, everything is good now. 2 perfectly good hours gone forever.

Thanks for posting the PDF file.
