When i first bought my Gerbing heated suit i was doing a two hundred mile ride, on the way back i jacked up the heat on the suit and found myself zoning out almost to the point of falling asleep. That with playing Jeff Beck in the head phones could be a recipe for not paying attention. Riding relaxes me sometimes to the point where i forget the crazys on the road.. not good. On long hauls going cross country there were times i couldn't remember the last fifty miles behind me. Zoning out is easy to do.
Oh my god!!! I am an "Electronica" or Zen evening wind down music guy! A little "Beam and seven, easy on the Beam and some electronica music is how I wind down! Great pick dude!! Jeff beck is on of the greats! Love the song.
Yep you are correct on that one. His and his. Quite frankly I was surprised the rider was not wearing a Pink tee shirt, Yellow shorts, Blue socks and White Golf shoes. I guess it was too cold for that. Around here that's the "A typical" attire for a Goldwing rider! Now me when I had my Streeet Glide, I would have ZZTop cranking going down the road.
WOW! The "Laid back texting" video is amazing. I especially liked the tractor pulling the trailer in the number two lane at most likely the top speed of 35MPH! I talk to the owner of a local gas station who is from India. He states there is "one person per minute who looses their life to violence in India." With that in mind, I'm really surprised someone in a cage does not ram the guy from behind. I know I would be tempted if he was in front of me! oops. I must have looked down to get something I dropped. I did not intend to hit his vehicle from behind,,,,. Amazing. Simply amazing! I'm glad I live here!
****! You guys are BRUTAL! ....And really funny too
The Cali his and his.....your killing me!
Something that might be in play that hasn't been considered. As somebody with a long time engineering background, I'm always looking for a logical answer for any question.
The past decade I've switched from mechanical to civil, so I design roadways now.
Sometimes, especially during the winter months a lot of dirt/mud/oil/sand and your basic crud can gather from the edge to the center of a lane. He may have been trying to avoid some adverse roadway conditions. I own a Goldwing, Harley, a KLR Kawi and an R3T. I've never encountered anybody with an attitude on a wing. I've only seen some real jerks on Harleys and sportbikes. I've worked closely with the Ride For Kids task force for several years (who are predominantly Goldwingers). Most Wingers are respectful retired/older safety-minded folks not jerks....So instead of thinking JERK .....think ministroke!
No I've never encountered one either. As for our roadways, the day it occurred the roadway surface was dry and clear of sand and any debris. I just think he had his mind on something or somewhere else. He needs to rethink his riding, as it WILL get him hurt or killed.
And yes, where I live is 50 minutes from the Palm Springs area. The other posters comments about him and him are quite appropriate.
I guess I should shut up, as we may have some on this forum!

I thought the guy was going good
He was changing lanes and passing people
Hell that's more than they do on my drive home
And he is on a bike
I would cut him some slack and laugh when he crashes
But he seemed to pay more attention then most people in Minnesota during rush hour
At least he was passing people !!!
We have a fellow here who is a member of the local country club, He rides his Heritage Classic with his golf clubs sticking out of the saddlebags wearing pink shorts and white tennis shoes and a neon green shirt. I thought I was going to run out of the road when I saw him, things that make you just say ''DA''
