I need something to cover the hole in the fender...

I ordered the solo seat and adjustable backrest. It occurred to me I'll have an exposed hole in my fender when riding with the solo seat installed. I checked to see if Triumph offers anything to cover the hole. They don't as far as I can tell. Have any of you addressed this issue?
 
They sell a small medallion that screws into the hole. Check MADSS for a discounted price.
 
I'm not interested in spending $20 for that. After further thought, I think I'm going to use a chrome button cover like is used on the handlebar risers.
 
That's certainly an option. I just figured that with all the money I had in the bike already, another $20 wasn't going to make any difference.
 
It's not the money, it's more the value. I don't think it's worth $20. But yes, $20 is pretty insignificant after spending $450 on the seat and backrest. lol
 
Daryl, You're riding a 2300cc motorcycle that gets worse gas mileage than most Japanese cars!!!

You lost the bang for the buck argument a long time ago...... :D
