Sorry I messed up sending the pics. I don't know if there been any mods it looks like the riding position is the same as when it was made. I would really like an opinion what you think. It is a 4-Hour ride one way to look at it
Hi , welcome. Bars are 1" dia, so many options to swap out. Triumph had floorboards on the classic, also Rivco had a floorboard option. My 05 had 128000k before I swapped to a Touring and still working like a top.
Where can I get the floorboards and are they part of a forward controls package. I'm only 5'9" so I would need a good pullback on my bars. I'm running beach bars on my roadstar and they are very comfortable. What is the diameter of the stock bar? Thank you!
When I purchased my 07 Classic i had never even seen a Rocket up close. I wobbled like crazy and my ridding was terribly slow. A new front tyre improved things. It had the RIVCO risers which pull the bars back. Warpo suggested changing them to stock so I could get closer to the yoke in the turns and so I did. Big difference. He also suggested setting up the seat backrest forward so I would be closer to the tank. Much much better. Once the stepper mtor was disabled and my iddle issues were solved the bike is perfect. for me. The Classic's bars are somewhat pullbacks compared to the Standard it seems. I have floorboards and in the tunny roads ride with the balls of the feet on ad the heels hanging. I feel better with the feet under me rather than forward. All these things are a matter of preference and habit.

As you get better with the rocket you are going to want to be closer to the yoke. Wide bars are necessary just to turn the darn thing but not too high. You'll see. For cruising tall, swept back is OK not for twisty roads. You will want to lean forward as to trey to kiss the mirrors. Any way it's just metal and cables. People change them all the time.

They set the bars baclk 3/4" and raise them about 1/2" They will cause the bars center to contact the positioning lug on the fuel tank when proping the tank up. Not a problem as the lug is not solidly fixed, just need to finagle a bit.
