2025 Triumph Rocket 3 Storm GT
Hello, joined the forums and just wanted to say "hi"!

New 2025 Rocket 3 Storm GT. Dealer added on the TPMS kit and connectivity kit. Easy shift is ordered, will install when I take it back this week for the first service. I installed the Evotech tail tidy and removed the front fender. I'll figure out how to take off the front fork reflectors tomorrow. Only other addon I want to do for now is figure out how to put a USB charging port by the handlebars.. My only 'complaint' so far is I would rather an all black gas tank instead of the grey/black (though I really dig the white stripe that separates the colours and I like the Triumph logo). I wonder if there is a good paint place around that could paint the grey part black?

This is actually only my second motorcycle. I had raced bicycles (road racing, triathlon) for years; had always wanted a motorcycle, and finally did this summer. Started on a Honda Rebel 500 (which is such a cool starter bike BTW). After I got comfortable on that, I wanted a cruiser that I could keep up with my friends on sport bikes. I checked out the Harley Davidson Sportser S, and almost bought it that day. But then I saw a YouTube video showing the Rocket. Found an awesome Triumph dealer down the road, checked it out and said "this is the one!".

Yesterday, I went on a long, curvy ride through Southern Indiana with my friend, who rides a Ducati Monster and, well... his exact words were "You’re bike's faster than mine. Don’t ever remind me I admitted that." LOL

I also took my wife on the back for a ride. MUCH better experience than the little Honda!

So, ya, I'm really loving this bike :)

Welcome Red. Bike looks great! Loved your motorcycle history. Regarding USB, I've tried the DIN to USB socket plug in adapters (long and angled versions). The long, I found too loose, flimsy, and stuck out too much, and now have the angled type, which are a bit more sturdy and less pronounced. However, I'm going to end up replacing the DIN socket altogether with an actual USB version.
(P.S. Set up your shocks as it makes a huge difference.)

Welcome to the site. Congrats on one cool looking ride. Love the subtle colour change with that dark grey mixed in with the black. Ride safe on the beast.
