I haven't been on my bike since late August...

Hope you are doing better, Phil.
Tis hard to handle not being able to "Ride, Baby, Ride" due to pain!
Been there - suffered that!
Get well soon, Amigo!

Thanks, Steve!

I'm walking tall again and close to being fully healed up from a traumatic leg injury sustained on Memorial Day, so, lots to be thankful for today.

I herniated the same disc and after many visits to my chiro i had a MRI scan which showed it up....I was at work when i twisted sideways and "BOOM"...couldnt hardly put weight on my left leg but had been to the chiro quite a few times prior. A visit to the Orthopaedic Surgeon and the offending hernia was discussed with an operation booked in. I was on the sofa at home and gobbling tramadol...i lost 8 kilos in weight and muscle tone in the time i was away from work!..Long story short, the surgeon opened me up and the hernia came out to meet him!..He cleaned out the disc area which created more room and once i healed i have never felt better in there!...Its an age thing boys!...We compress as we age...get shorter. Watching how you lift things will help. Take a look in the mirror and see who is looking back...you or your father and you will know what i mean!..I still visit my chiro for my right hip which gives me arseholes!...dosnt stop me from riding my scooter yet tho!

What happened to you, Phil?

OK, When he finishes his new pad in Jacksonville we'll go visit and take the Mustang out. We can ride there and ride south to the Keys. Very doable.
He can park the Shelby in my garage until his Pad is finished........

LOL He let me drive it once and complained that I was dropping the rpm below 3000 and that somehow that was going to harm the engine
The car is fast but the Mercedes SLS AMG has more torque. I think the R3 has more torque and brute early acceleration. The thing is that once you hit 125 he will pass you. It goes through corners and ramps nicely, even at 70 to 90. The suspension is active and keeps the car level. Nice traction control to keeps the tail from coming loose.

This one's for sale. Roush Difficult to find

He'll make you a good deal. Bozard Ford in So Jacksonville.

That looks like Toms old office.

I have been dealing with Bozard for several years. They do all of my services. Bought my 07 GT convertible from them back in 2012. I traded it a few months ago (at Sarasota Ford) for a 2012 CS/GT convertible. Bozard did not have what I was looking for at the time. My son in law does their commercials too. The ones with the aerial drone shots are his.

I saw that Roush on the floor a few weeks ago. I like the Roush styling. I had installed a Roush spoiler on my 07. Loved its looks.

Top is the 2012, bottom was the 07.

I suffered with lower back problems for years, all while going through multiple versions of physical therapy. No fault to any of the docs, but it didnt work for me. Probably because I'm too hard headed to do it correctly and not get involved in activities that exacerbate the original problem. At the point when I could sleep, sit, drive a car, or walk properly I was convinced to see a pain management doc. I had pretty much resigned myself to being a drugged out invalid for my remaining days. He injected my spine with some concoction and it was like a miracle. I walked out of his office after the first visit feeling 10 years younger and fit to do pretty much anything. Had the injections every few months for a few years when the pain would return but havent had one in 5 years now. The injections were almost unbearably painful but did their job. Chronic pain is a killer as it affects your overall quality of life and mobility which tends to lead to other issues. To those of you who suffer my heart felt sympathies. Growing old ain't for pu$$ys

Did Rick help you in the finance stage of the deal? Your son in law probably did the SLS drone aerials for it's sale survey. Ill shoot you a conversation so we can exchange tel#s and meet next time we go there. We are planning a costal ride from Houston Jacksonville. 45 to Mobile and coast as far as there is rtoad near it. Palatka, St Augustine, SO Jacks. Perhaps you want to ride west some and meet us. We have many good friends in Florida.

I've been busy enough with work and life that I don't get on here as often as I use to. Thanks for all the well wishes. As of today I'm feeling better and can walk without my cane. Thank God for pharmaceuticals!
