How to improve your Rocket's rear visibility, beautifully

Take a look at this site in the UK - ok the plates arent all legal size and a single line plate is illegal on a motorbike too, but how often do you get pulled? An you can have fun with colours slogans etc. http://www.demonplates.com/

Trouble is when you get pulled they then look over your bike , and then discover your pipes say not for road use , and that your visor is to dark and they test it with their jazzy tester . Getting pulled for small plates does happen around here and wales , is it worth it .

Mind my plate is chopped so I obviously think so

Not saying it doesn't happen, but I've had a small plate for about the last 6 years, and offroad pipes, and a black or iridium visor, and so far, I've never been stopped.
Probably tempting fate now :?

been stopped a few . Only when in a group though .
Never been done for anything during checks though .

Have not had a tarnish on licence for 10 yrs , hows that for tempting fate

Not windscreens - crash helmet visors. Must allow a certain amount of light through i.e. no dark ones, or iridium. Largely ignored.

Thanks Trumpet, I too have invested in a new plate.
You should have asked for commission!
Sully is right about the inflexibility of NW Police. I've gone for legal size and text, but it was worth it to put "Triumph Rocket 111 Why Not!" on the bottom. Also utilised the ability to put three lions and cross of St. George instead of the Union flag and bloody European stars.
I already have TORs fitted by previous owner and am about to fit cat delete so don't want to give the plod any excuses I don't have to, but I really had to dump the cat. On my last Harley the Screaming Eagles were so loud they set car alarms off in terraced streets on the overrun. Never got pulled for that and am hoping they'll be even more forgiving now I've go a Triumph.
Cheers.
